1st Race of '22 on the full race bike for Jymmy

Jymmy.T was in action on the Bath Road in Berkshire in the Newbury Velo Wednesday afternoon '10' on the H10/3R, clocking 23:29 for a 25.5+mph ride on the first full blown effort of the '22 season on the full race bike setup. Good enough to take 5th place in a classy field and only 30 seconds from a podium spot. The weather was almost Mediterranean with the mercury indicating 20C and mild breezes. As expected the Brock Climb totally broke the rhythm of JymmyT on the 105" fixed this early in the season and the 'in race' recovery from that effort was hard. A good prep for the up and coming Open '25' at the weekend.
